Strategy Explanation

This TH18 war layout is a rotated diamond with stacked compartments and tight channeling. The Town Hall sits inside the inner diamond rather than dead center, protected by layered walls, a Monolith in the core, and split coverage from two Scattershots on the left and right lanes. The Clan Castle is centralized so that lures require deep investment. The Eagle Artillery is placed toward the top point of the diamond, forcing attackers to push through heavy defenses to shut it down.

Long wall lines create narrow alleys that bend troops away from the Town Hall and into side compartments. Storages and utility buildings form a broad trash line along the bottom edge to stall time and soak damage. You can see a visible Tesla farm stacked on the right flank outside the diamond, punishing casual Sui Hero entries and catching late-stage Balloons. Air Sweepers are aimed to push from the core toward the top-right and left lanes, disrupting Blimps and Lalo pathing.

Heroes are split: Royal Champion and Archer Queen are protected behind layers on the lower half, while the Grand Warden and Barbarian King help anchor the southern exterior. Spell Towers are tucked near the core (Rage/Invisibility pairing works well here), boosting the Monolith and Inferno coverage when troops finally break in.

Strengths

Anti-3 pathing: The diamond channels pull ground and air into the sides first, delaying Town Hall and splitting heroes from main troops.
Centralized CC: Hard to lure early; Queen Charges must overcommit through multiple compartments.
Air denial: Split Scattershots, core Rage/Inviz, and Sweeper angles make straight Lalo or Blimp snipes unreliable.
Legend/war ready: Bottom trash line plus right-side Tesla farm drain time and cleanup, producing safe defenses across meta armies.
Spell baiting: Layered core punishes early Freeze/Rage usage before the Town Hall room.

Weaknesses

South-east Queen Charge window: With precise Wall Breaks or Super Wall Breakers, a Charge from the lower-right can pick up a Scatter, step into the core, and set a secure Town Hall path.
Blimp from bottom-left: A Stone Slammer start into a Rage Blimp can ride the diagonal if not met by early traps; watch this line.
Pathing if Tesla farm is found early: Once the right-side Teslas are revealed, attackers can plan RC ability to sweep that edge safely.
Zap openings: Well-placed Lightning can remove a core Inferno/Sweeper combo and open Lalo lines on one side.

Defensive Notes From the Screenshot

Right-edge Tesla farm is visible; pair it with Seeking Air Mines just behind to catch late Balloons.
Several springs and bombs are dropped along the southern trash line to punish funnel Golems and Miners.
Eagle at the top point synergizes with pathing—leave it there to fire for a long time as troops circle.

Ice Hound + Super Minions + Archers for air-heavy wars.
2 Ice Golems + Headhunters + Archers if your clan faces Hybrid and Hero dives.

How to Use in War and Legends

Rotate Sweeper angles based on scouting—point one at the most common Blimp lane (bottom-left here).
Swap the Queen and RC sides between wars to throw off repeat attacks.
Keep traps refreshed around the right edge; many attackers end there with cleanup.
